Following in the family tradition, Greg studied Rural Valuation and Farm Management at Lincoln University.

After graduating early 1990’s, he and his wife Lorna moved to Taranaki to work for the Rural Bank, the perfect job to get involved in the primary sector after finishing university. Following this Greg and Lorna travelled overseas for nine months before returning to a family business then known as Morice & Associates.
Greg has been running the family business with his brother Mark since 2003. With vast experience in the pastoral farming space, he helps clients with leases, succession planning and a myriad of other property related issues.

A firm believer in work-life balance, Greg regularly makes time for mountain biking, motorbike riding, tramping, fishing, and catching up with good friends.

Mark is a Director of Morice and the only practising valuer in New Zealand with dual registration in both forestry and land valuation. He holds a Bachelor of Commerce (Agriculture) from Lincoln University, a Postgraduate Diploma in Forestry from the University of Canterbury and has completed a Professional Masters paper on Forestry Valuation.

With a background that bridges both forestry and property valuation, Mark helps Morice provide specialist advice on tree crop, carbon, and forestry land. He’s a Senior Member of the Property Institute of New Zealand, an Associate of the New Zealand Institute of Valuers, and a Registered Member of the New Zealand Institute of Forestry, where he also sits on the Registration Board.

Mark enjoys mentoring the next generation of valuers—under his guidance, Morice has seen eight graduates through to registration, with more on the way.

Outside of work, Mark embraces the Hawke’s Bay lifestyle—fishing, diving, adventure riding, and hunting across New Zealand’s stunning landscapes.

After completing a Commerce degree at Lincoln University, Tiff travelled overseas met and married Mark (better known around here as Morry) and together they settled in the small rural community of Puketapu, Hawke’s Bay. Quickly embraced by the close-knit community, Tiff raised their three children and built lifelong friendships along the way.

Her background includes a range of roles in the rural sector, with experience at Rissington Breedline, Focus Genetics, and as part of the genetics team on the Omega Lamb programme.

Tiff joined the family business in 2024 to support the growing team and has been an integral part of the friendly, down-to-earth Morice culture ever since. With her warm personality and strong connection to the rural community, she keeps the office running smoothly — and always with a smile.

Jodie enjoys being part of a family-run business, where a supportive team environment is clearly valued. Jodie appreciates the high standards and quality of work upheld at Morice, along with the sense of pride the team takes in what they do, while still sharing the occasional laugh. She also enjoys the challenge of learning new terminology and expanding her knowledge.
Having recently purchased a parcel of land on Bluff Hill, Jodie loves being close to family, the convenience of nearby shops, the beautiful Hawke’s Bay weather, and the village atmosphere of Ahuriri, not to mention the easy downhill commute to work.
Outside of work, Jodie enjoys arts and crafts, oil painting, gardening, listening to music, and spending time with her best friend and companion, Layla a much-loved Labrador/Alsatian cross.

Originally from his family’s sheep and beef station in Taihape, Lochy is a key part of our valuation team, helping clients with ETS work, forestry valuations, and other rural property matters as he works towards becoming a Registered Valuer.

After studying Land and Property Management (Rural Valuation) at Lincoln University, Lochy joined Morice full-time in 2023, following a summer placement with the team.

He grew up fencing, working with stock, and driving tractors — so he brings plenty of practical rural know-how to his role.

Outside of work, you’ll find Lochy making the most of the Hawke’s Bay lifestyle — playing golf with mates, trail riding, or back home in Taihape helping on the farm.

Lochy’s easy-going nature and solid rural grounding make him a great fit for the Morice team.

Growing up on Kiwitahi, his family’s Romney Stud on the western shores of Lake Taupo, Harry developed a deep connection to the land from a very early age, and he always saw himself going on to work in the rural sector.

“Working at Morice gives me a good mix of working indoors and outside and being in Hawke’s Bay there’s a huge variety of property types. The people here are ‘pretty bloody good’ and I’m really building on what I learned at uni.”

Harry boarded at Lindisfarne with many family connections in the Bay, and not being a fan of big cities he loves the relaxed vibe here.

On the weekends he loves his hunting and fishing or just catching up with good mates.

His father owns a trucking business with a largely farmer customer base, and this opened opportunities to work on a large-scale dairy farm in Culverden, and later on a 1,200 hectare sheep and beef station in Waikaia, Southland.

His passion for the rural sector blossomed in these environments which ultimately led him to complete a double-major at Lincoln University – a Bachelor in Land and Property Management plus a degree in Rural and Urban Valuation.

After a summer holiday stint in 2023/24 at Morice, Henry joined the team full-time in 2025.

As part of his journey toward Registration, he works closely with the Directors – Greg mentoring and supporting him in in the pastoral sector, and Mark with ETS mapping and forestry.

“Moving to the Bay felt pretty natural, it’s like the Canterbury of the North. Hawke’s Bay has such a diverse range of property types which keeps it really interesting. Morice is a tight-knit team, and while we work really hard, weekends are weekends.”

Henry loves his outdoor pursuits especially mountain biking at Te Mata Peak. As a Cantabrian he learned to ski as a youngster and recently enjoyed a winter ski trip to Japan.
